Getting Patients the Dental Care They Need
Dental insurance companies don’t always have the patient’s best interests in mind and instead will only cover treatments that meet certain criteria, saving them money. These criteria often don’t follow a plan that is needed to restore your oral health. The main goal for an insurance company is to keep their costs down, which often comes at the expense of the patient. Our main goal is to create a treatment plan that will restore the function of your teeth and improve the state of your oral health. Oftentimes, the treatment plan that an insurance company will recommend does not use the ideal materials and will not provide the same long-lasting results as other, more expensive options. As Dr. Stryker mentions in the video, they will always submit to insurance for you, but he believes in providing dental care that is necessary to restore a patient’s oral health.
